Neil Wargen LOVES his All New 3 Foot long Custom Platform Bruce Shark, and his custom Ward Welton style Display Stand! He writes in saying, "Hi Mike, got Bruce set up on the base now. Looks amazing!" Thank you Neil! We are currently burning the candle at both ends to meet the impending deadline for delivering these Mechanical Sharks to location-shoot for this 6th film credit that we are working. We are hoping to catch everyone up as soon as we can. We still have the Epic Bruce Collector Set Sharks on their Mechanical Arm Display stands, and the Attack versions of the 3 foot Megalodon/White Shark and Bruce Sharks to release. As well as several Top-Secret surprises. We aim to at least double the number of products added to our catalog within a few months from now☺. All in order and in good time☺ More info as soon as we can find a minute. Thrilled to get this mention and this original JAWS photo (on right) from Cal Acord regarding this post! Thanks Cal! Ward Welton was a really nice man and a great painter! I think it’s great that you honored him by naming the shark rig after him! Here he is in the saucer tank at MGM (now Sony) Studios touching up Bruce before we flooded the tank! What's the funnest thing you can do on JAWS' birthday? Be building mechanical sharks for a movie, of course!
So that's what we're doing! Happy 43rd birthday JAWS! SOLD!
NEWS FLASH! We are FINALLY selling our very first Original 2008 GIGANTIC-Scale Bruce Shark Dry Dock wooden display stand! This is the one that started it all friends. This is that first photoshoot Dry Dock stand that we used to advertise/launch the very FIRST EVER 3-foot-long Fine-Scale NTT Bruce Shark nearly a decade ago. The very first of our over two dozen different Bruce, Sequel and Reel-Life Shark products released since 2007. Only 3 of these HUGE wood Dry Dock-Cradles were ever made: one to a Hollywood director Jeff Bettancourt, one custom Shark & Dry Dock display for our friend Greg Nicotera (as can be seen over his shoulder in his KNB private office in Several of his interviews [Fangoria & Walking Dead]!), and the original one is HERE waiting for YOU! The measurements are 24 x 22 x 15 H. And It’s crammed packed with tons of fine-scale film era specific items! Tools, tool box, hoses, cables, ropes, wire, blueprints, tarp.... even a ladder and saw-horse! Please refer to the photos for all the many specifics. Be aware that the shark is NOT included with this Dry Dock, it is only there to show you how it would look displayed. As you can see, this Display Dry Dock is a MONSTER! Over the years we have moved this shark-Dry Dock from workshop to workshop and from storage building to storage building as we juggle Practical FX filmwork and providing customized shark builds for collectors. We finally agreed that it is time to let it go to a good home as we simply accept it is going to waste just sitting there collecting dust while we work. Between Cathy & I we have turned down at least 40 offers to buy it over the years. So we know there is interest and a good forever-home for it. Make us an offer we can't refuse [plus shipping] and it is yours for immediate shipping. Write us at [email protected] if you are interested - Thanks! Although currently working to beat deadlines for pre-production on providing Practical FX for our 6th film title, we are still several weeks ahead on orders and one of our primary goals is to strengthen that lead on shipping sharks early. We will have the next ginormous wave of sharks completed and shipping next week if things continue to go according to schedule.
Once our part of filming wraps we will be releasing at least the first two of our entirely all new Epic Class Bruce & Sequel Sharks [ on their Mechanical Arm Display Stands ], and the all New 3 foot long FULL Attack-Pose Megalodon White Shark. Another intended goal is to get our Open Sided Bruce Shark released for pre-order as well as our entirely All New 3 foot long FULL ATTACK POSE Bruce Shark. Time will tell just how many entirely All New Bruce-Sequel-& Reel Life Sharks we can stuff into our All New 2018 online catalog in the months to follow. More info soon as we can release it. Thank you friends☺, Mike & Cathy Hi Guys, this is Cathy! Just taking a moment to wish my love a happy and blessed 50th birthday!
So thankful for this incredibly talented and hard-working guy of mine! Here's to many more years of shark-makin'! All Paid-in-Full Pre-Order 3-foot sharks due in April are either already shipped or shipping over the coming days.
We are also working towards releasing a few new products for pre-order before we officially begin pre-production providing practical FX Sharks for our 6th film credit. With this said, we are still undecided which we will have time to release while juggling this next film's FX needs. Contenders so far are releasing : * The All New 2018 EPIC Class Bruce & Sequel Shark Collector's Set sharks on their Fincredible all new Mechanical Arm Display Stands. * Or the All New Open Sided Platform Bruce Shark on the mechanical Arm Display Stand that we have been advertising since before this time last year. Also awaiting release are: * The Bruce & Sequel Shark Teeth Collector's Set [teeth from EVERY Bruce film Shark☺], * The All New Life-Sized White Shark Head, * The All New 3-foot Attack-Pose Megalodon White Shark, * The ½ Scale Bruce Shark Dorsal Fin, and a small army of over 40 other Shark prototypes. However, adding 7 All New, and of course, O-R-I-G-I-N-A-L Shark products and display stands to our SCO 2018 online Catalog in five months is a new record even for us! We have much to share and catch the Jaws & Shark fan community up on. More info when we have a chance☺. Thank you friends! The All New 3 foot long 2018 Platform & Tow Sled Bruce Sharks continue to ship and land at their forever homes! Everything in order of paid in full status with Pre-Orders first.
More photos to be added to the sales pages as we complete the myriad of different customization request- and find time to photo them. And you thought it was FUN before☺! Epic Class Bruce and ScarFace Sharks, their mechanical arm display stands, and the FINCREDIBLE Open-Sided Platform Bruce Sharks up next. As soon as we can make it all happen. Thank you friends☺!
