Thank you for taking your time to set up, to take, and to share these AWESOME photos Postie78☺ !
** Update on barrels. I do not have them remolded yet. I am sorry. Been too extremely busy. ... The honest answer is at $25 each we don't really make any profit on them at all, they are just for the thrill of the customer. They take a few hours to make each.... And we just can't bring ourselves to charge more for them. But will have to soon on everything. Anyway & Ergo - they have been taking the back seat for a few months while we catch up from the decades BIGGEST order-load ever yet! 2016 was the best year yet for SCO sharks globally☺! I will be remolding barrels I hope in Feb when I will be molding some other items. I thank you friends for your patience if you have been waiting for your back-ordered barrels. One plus to this wait is that I did update and accurize the patterns so you will be getting updated barrels☺.

Why so long, what's going on & where were we these last few months?
Well, the same answer applies to all of the above. We once again got blown away by more orders in Q4 than we have handled all previous years prior! So we have been mostly in the SharkCave cranking out sharks like mad! But more of a happy form of mad, to be clear. 2016, the year that topped all previous years for orders and private commission work. What a BLAST! Also during these last few months we achieved a few other goals and experienced other things as well. Some of which, to name a few highlights, being that we relocated our entire Shark-Factory and most of our family all the way across the country to the Great State of Texas! NO MORE SNOW & ICE for us!☺ New homes, new workshops, new storage buildings, new surroundings and new adventures to name a few. And during all this I managed to break my ankle and a finger but still keep up on orders! Can you imagine moving while keeping up on the greatest workload to date? Well then imagine selling your property, packing a fully operational FX studio, shops, storage buildings & home then moving them from Missouri to South Texas. Then imagine resettling everything while still getting orders out almost 94% early or on time DURING the Christmas season☺! I can't even imagine it! A testament to Cathy's incredible planning and groundwork, she made it all flow smoothly folks☺! What's ahead then? More sharks. Many Much More Sharks! And New Shark Products the likes of which the fan-world has never seen before. And many incredible New Kaiju to share as well! So many surprises to share; such as our Shark-Art being featured in an Art Gallery in Japan, and our branching out into other fan-fields. In fact we are working through plans to attempt to make our 2017 make all previous Shark City Ozark years look pale in comparison. More details as I have time to present them. Until then I am borderline running late on getting out several end of January Shark orders. But we are working extra late hours to get ahead on everything by mid-February. More details as I can find time friends. A great and hardy "Thank you" to those friends who have been actual real friends and stuck with us along this Great Finned Adventure thus far! My New Years Resolutions?
Well, to be honest we want to be able to put MORE SHARKS out, & MORE KAIJU out. AND also to be able to take more days off to enjoy th...e fruits of our labors. No more 7 days a week for months on end trying to get further and further ahead. We will simply accept fewer orders, fewer private commissions and schedule much wiser in 2017; so that we can relax and ENJOY life at least once a week like everyone else gets to do☺. So, in the end, I believe the best thing for everyone is for us to reduce the sheer volume of sharks that we have been providing all decade. Which has been an incredible volume, growing yearly since late 2009-2010. First come, first serve. Smaller production runs. Shorter Pre-Order times perhaps. Perhaps selling a prototype or two for someone else to produce for the communities. We are not completely sure just yet as there are so many ways to achieve things. But we will stop and smell the roses far more in 2017 than in the last 8 years where at times I never left the workshop for up to 5 months at a time! All work and no play made me a very unhappy boy at times. If there are ways to make everything happen then we hope to find them. HAPPY NEW YEAR FRIENDS |
