Not so quick update

Hi EVERYONE!
Just a quick update on Cathy & I and Sharkcityozark.
For over 13 years Cathy & I have provided well over 8000 customized sharks, spanning over 42 different & never been done before products.
In addition, we ENJOYED providing primary Practical FX for 7 Films, 4 of which made it to release [Incredible percentage in this day and age]!
We have achieved these wonderful things typically by working 6-7 days a week, often 8 to 10+ hour days. Over 2 hours DAILY just answering messages!
However, our lives DRASTICALLY changed a few months back when a truck hauling a trailer speeding through a construction zone impacted our car from behind totaling it.
Since this time, we have fallen behind on finishing and shipping customized shark orders. We have gone from very early delivery over 96% of the time, to simply on schedule delivery; to now being up to 3+ weeks behind on some orders and Private Commissions.
And all these crazy supply-chain issues that NEVER existed BEFORE 2020 have not helped either.
Anyway, things will not be improved for the next few months for us on shipping.
Although we have designed and built some HANDY NEW equipment to help us handle all the big heavy stuff, we are still a few weeks behind on finishing May's orders.
Essentially, we have dropped from 6-day work weeks to now around 4+/- day workweeks due to both Cathy & I needing physical therapy every so many days plus the many new Dr appointments. Honestly, some days we just cannot handle the pain and do not make it into the workshop!
I am seeing a specialist for my back soon to get to the bottom of things.
Currently, meds, ice and a back brace keep me going for a few hours at a time most days, but not full workdays like we have been used to all these years.
Regardless, we are still going strong and working EVERY hour & day that we can.
So far, ALL customers have been so VERY kind and encouraging to us. And we sure thank you all! This has of course cost us some sales.
However, those that keep their orders simply get their sharks either on time or a few weeks late at worst with the addition of some INCREDIBLE FREE SURPRISE GIFTs inside to keep the THRILLS HIGH.
Regrettably this car accident has cost the entire Jaws fan community our being able to add the 5 ALL NEW & NEVER Been Done BEFORE Bruce & Reel Life Shark products to our 2023 catalog. Such AWESOME NEW Sharks!! Most VERY LARGE!!
We will release them as soon as we are able to.
They would ALREADY be added, and even shipping, had the accident not happened to us...
As we get more info on the extent of our injuries and recovery, we will post UPDATES.
Right now, I was only able to work 3 hours today and Cathy is down today as she shattered one of her back teeth in the accident and has just been in agony for weeks and weeks. That is FINALLY getting dealt with once and for all this week!
In other news keep an eye out in the coming days and weeks for those updates and HOPFULLY some SURPRISES/SNEAKPEEKS!
NOBODY wants to miss out on what we have coming out SOON [as we can]!
