There were 9+ wildly different sharks made in different scales to represent Bruce 3D on screen.
None of those separate FX teams communicated with each other, so their sharks were all very different.
For our shark we found inspiration only in the full-sized End-Scenes Shark that was caught in the water-pump, terrorized the dolphins and crashed the control room. We did not attempt to incorporate any of the other scale FX sharks such as the tiny animation model, nor the cable-controlled model, nor Baby Bruce, nor the over-sized head nor mouth-only model, or towed fin rig, or exploding shark, or Sea World PR displays. None of them looked in any way like each other or everyone’s favorite full-sized shark that attacks the control room. That's the one we LOVED, and the most recognized so that is what we have faithfully rendered in a very fine scale and rich detail level.
