We have been so busy these last few months that I have not taken the time needed to share some of the great
Happy Customer letters like I used to post. Max Aubrey sent us this letter recently with his photos; he writes:

A gentle reminder that we will be ENDING our entire line of 2015 - 2016 Bruce Shark products VERY soon.
This in order to make way for our All New 2017 product line. Some sharks will return upgraded and remolded, some will not return at all. We have yet to have a chance to access these things to determine what will and what won't as yet.

Also:
We delivered early on our February Shark orders. Some by a few weeks, some by only a few days; but this is a good sign as it shows we are not only caught up from holiday orders, but we finally are getting ahead on them once again.
Pretty much the norm for every year at this time. Our goal is to have ALL the March ~Paid in Full~ sharks done and shipped by the middle of this month, if not earlier☺.

Also:
I reuse the photo of Cal Acord holding his Customized 3-Foot Tow-Sled Shark for good reason. Cal's been at it again☺.
We are grateful and Thrilled to share that Cal's been helping us get ALL the fine scale details just perfect for our All New 2017 surprise,

Also:
As much as I miss providing Practical FX work for the SyFy Channel and other films, I would like to share that we have relocated to Texas and are now looking forward to winding down and slowly working our way into a nice semi-retired life-style. Little by little is the plan☺.
We have a brand new workshop and storage facilities to enjoy; but still have a multitude of Shark and other prototypes stored and awaiting their turn on our sales site.
So the transition will be gradual.
But we are seriously looking at winding down from working 7 days a week, and up to 10 hours a day. Nobody else has ever achieved what we have achieved nor provided what we have provided globally all decade. We can trace it back to 2009 for the little Bruce busts or back to 1998 for the Great White Busts and dinosaur products☺!
We will still provided sharks for awhile longer. But for 2017 Cathy & I wish to slow down some and smell the roses more. Indeed, I barely saw daylight most of the 2016, save what came through the shop window!
Ah, but this is what afforded our entire family's relocation to Texas. And our amazing new home, and our INCREDIBLE best ever workshop & storage buildings...
So with this in mind we will soon release our 2017 catalog. BUT, we will limit how many sharks each run will include and we will limit how many sharks we ship each month this year.

Lastly:
I want to apologize to the friends and customers who have been waiting for many months now on their yellow barrels. After I am caught up with this month's orders I will be running a lot of new molds and the All New Barrel Molds will be among the first completed!
So I am charging myself before you all publicly to get these new yellow barrels out this month! For those that have been waiting for months on us to get these new barrels molded and released we will include a little something extra to make it up to you☺.
I do earnestly apologize for the wait on them and our hopes are to schedule less shark builds for 2017 and to have more time to stay ahead of things and to also enjoy life more☺.

We also look forward to putting out some of these products that many of you have patiently been asking about every month for more than a year. And, YES, the All New ½ scale Bruce Shark Dorsal Fin will be in the 2017 Catalog☺.

At this time we feel confident that we will soon be able to release our ALL NEW 3 Foot Long Open Sided Bruce Shark!*
A.K.A. The 3 Foot OSS.

This we have chosen to be first to release from our Insanely Awesome 2017 New Shark-Line of Products.
As far as information, this is what I can say for now:
We have determined that these New 3 Foot long OSS Bruce Sharks will be a very limited edition run.
These are very large and very expensive and time consuming to manufacture. And the absolute most detailed and intricate collectible that we have ever offered. Also note that we may only be able to provide perhaps 6 or 8 or so OSS shark-builds per month. We just don't know yet until we start an assembly line going. We will know more the closer we get to its Pre-Order release. We do believe the release date to be quite soon.

These 3 Foot long OSS displays are real monsters and seriously consume enormous amounts of time and material per piece.
We are unsure at this time if we will simply limit the number of pieces in the entire run, or run them only for a short time.
We do know that the molds will not last long at these deep detail levels and using the higher temp materials needed for such a project.

At this time I cannot yet answer specifics on price, or release photos or further describe the product. We are still improving production steps and trying many things that may improve this product before we go to release.

As we are able to finalize the product we will publish further information, photos and video. The release will be very soon.

OK, I think we are within maybe 3 weeks to a month-ish of being caught up on our BUSIEST Shark Christmas Season
all Decade! So with this in mind I think I feel confident enough to be able to post this now. Our intentions are to do all we can to get ahead on orders so that we can go ahead begin releasing some of our Jawsome 2017 Bruce Shark Catalog.

But I beg everyone to please keep in mind it is only Cathy & I doing all we can 7 days a week to meet everyone's needs.
We do all we can as we can. We are not sure how limited a production run we will make the New Open Sided Shark as yet. More details as get get closer to release date☺.

 Friends, we are in the process of bringing our Entire 2016 Catalog of Bruce Shark Products to an END.
If you like what we currently advertise then get it now while you can. Because once we pull the ads the molds will be stored. And we will not be making any exceptions after we close these 2016 edition runs.

There is never a good time for a catalog transition since orders are always coming in. But it needs to happen at some point.
I don’t want the molds wearing out. And Cathy and I are more than ready to implement an entire year’s worth of ideas and improvements to our product line. Not to mention getting to intro all the COOL new products!

You see, after making so many hundreds of the same make and model of each shark over the span of our 2015-2016 catalog we have generated a multitudes of little ideas to make things better. Including a TON of ways to save time and money to keep prices down. And we have accumulated a whole slew of ideas of things we feel would be incredibly cool to offer. 2 full notebooks worth of ideas! Not to mention that we look forward to doing something at least a little different. And I think that we once again found enough ways to even keep from increasing prices.

Yes, while all the big name collectible producers continue to raise their prices, we are still maintaining our low pricing from nearly a decade past! All while growing in experience, which helps us make our sharks with even greater quality than before.
We had some goals and we strove for them. Better quality, consistent low pricing and increasing the number of people that we could service per month were all 2016 goals that we feel that we blew right out of the water.

These are just a few of the MANY advantages to being a small team. Which, by the way, it is just Cathy & I once again. All the kids are raised and onto their own career paths. And announcing a catalog change in the past usually triples that. So, suffice to say we will release product information, photos and pricing only when we are able to.

So, if we have not yet released on our Sales site, Blog or social media pages the information that you want on our NEW 2017 Catalog of Bruce Sharks, then we are not yet ready to do so, and will not be able to in PM either.
Sorry friends but the actions of a few scumball copy-catters has limited what information we feel comfortable sharing at times. And as the old adage goes, timing is everything.

Today was the right time to announce that the 2016 Full Catalog is being retired. Soon we will do so and then we will Roll-Out the 2017 Line Of Bruce Sharks and OTHER SCO Collectables☺. And then there will be TONS of information and photos and videos galore to show off what we feel is our BEST WORK EVER!☺

​Please be patient with us while we transition. And we are not only transitioning an entire 2017 Catalog, we are also transitioning over to a new home and all new Special Effects Shop and storage building! UPGRADES All Around for SCO this year!
