Introducing the Slightly larger than 1:6 Scale Master Bruce Tow Sled Shark!
As illustrated in the many behind the scenes photos below, the location used Tow Sled Shark had his entire belly and lower fins cut off!
Being a long shot filming model, the Tow Shark was smoother skinned, less detailed. Cal Acord who made, maintained, and operated the original Tow Shark has helped us for years to get these details perfectly accurate. He has educated us that the Tow Shark was essentially skeletal and nearly entirely empty, "Almost like a huge, hollow fishing lure".
For purposes of improved shelf display presentation we have included several bonus features, at no extra expense. Foremost, a completed belly and tail fin! Additionally, just for increased FUN factor, we also include the awesome mechanics diorama in the throat. We feel this does justice to this beloved filming prop.
The original Tow Sled Shark's most defining feature is his pronounced additional girth due to being stretched over a different form of mechanical frame. This shark's face was thicker and heavier in appearance, and his upper lip curved down further than all of the other sharks. We have reference to support both smooth and feathered fin edges, as well as both sharper and softer demarcation lines. The Tow Shark's eye cut outs were also shaped differently than the Platform or Studio Tank Sharks. Our model features highly detailed tongue and throat inserts. However, we offer the option for a less detailed smoother tongue to choose from. We also include both detachable pectoral fins for improved display presence.

A Bit of Inspiration...
Enjoy these Tow-Sled Shark photos that helped inspire us to create the Master Bruce Tow-Sled Shark! Notice that the Tow Sled shark is much heftier than the Platform shark. It was framed and padded differently. His upper lip droops down, his fins, skin textures, snout and facial features are completely different.
