Modeled detail for detail after measurements taken from the real-life 12 1/2-foot-long female in Tarpon Springs, Florida during 2003 and studied by the artist.
Hyper-realistic micro skin detail modeled after this female's long-lived battle for survival, including mating scars on her flanks, years of battle scarring all over her body, thick and thin skin wrinkling.
