Kevin wrote asking which shark, and which paintjob and gore was most accurate?
Great Questions, and the answer is: Yes, all of them.
It depends on what your favorite scene is. All our sharks are mathematically scale perfect and based on over 11 gigs of reference material.
The thing is that there were 4 sharks and assorted heads and fin rigs. That's 2 platform sharks, one tow shark, the studio tank shark built from what survived location shooting for the Hooper cage attack and other pick-up shots, an explodey head, the miniature sinking body, and the fin/tail tow frame rig. Something else too but I can't remember right now???
Add to this all the various sharks were experimental and very rushed and were all padded differently and stretched over different shape-frames, and jointed differently. This is why junkyard Bruce looks little like screen used Bruce. Every skin replacement was also a new test to see if things could be made better. Every repaint was a trial and error experiment and just as different.
Add to this that the skins were replaced as often as time allowed. Add to this that they painted them differently, some darker, some lighter, some sharp and some with soft grey/white demarcations.
The gore and even the teeth arrangements change from sequence to sequence as well. Not to mention that a fresh new shark looked nothing like a well worn shark. Night and day.
Carefully measured reference material and simple math does not lie; the honest answer is that you just have to pick which scenes you like best and then just work with us to communicate exactly what you want.
Send me some screen-grabs that match each other so there is no confusion as to what you love most and I'll match them for you.
I would like to make this question and answer an article for our wall here, so soon i'll have some photos up to illustrate what I mean. Thank you for asking and I look forward to building your future most favorite display!
Have an AWESOME weekend!
